Nice gear, Val! Love that Wolfie - bet it plays sweet. Is that a vintage MXR flanger you’ve got there? I've been considering getting an MXR flanger and have seen two different types – I believe that one of them is powered directly with electricity and the other either uses batteries or an adaptor. Don’t know if there’s any real difference in tone or functionality between the two.

Yeah its Vintage but not the really old one with the input and output on the same side. Mine is powered by a 18V DC adaptor. I believe when it has an adaptor plugged into it the sound quality is better, i plug the adaptor into my phaser and it sounds much better than with the batteries, but thats the phaser, not sure on flanger.
