Remember The 80's Man?
Remember the 80's ?
This was me back then. .
Check out my Van's - Heheheh . .
Not to mention my Rush concert T-shirt . .
This was shot up in my room when I was in high school sometime in 1983.
Note Gibson SG (Note EVH style pin stripes on the pick guard) with a Bowen Handle and the Traynor 50 watt amp. The speakers I built and put Pyle Drivers in them - they rocked.

It's a good look! I have worse pics. If I knew how to post them like yours (i.e you see them rather than click on them) I'd show you hair days from hell!

I guess - I don't really know. It wasn't extra long or anything.

PJ, you didn't get much pussy did you? Seriously, thanks for sharing. Almost as whacked as the pic of me from the 80's with my shirt all opened and gold chain with a little gold guitar...

Kewl pic... brings back memories o' 1983- Scorps' "China White" blasting on my crappy Radio Shack stereo speakers... me searching for my red-black-striped spandex T-shirt and raggedy denim vest w/pyramid studs through the messy pile of school clothes, used guitar string packs, KMET "WHOOYA" stickers and 5 years worth of BAM, Guitar Player, Musician magazines I tossed mercilessly on the bedroom floor... getting ready to go with my older buddy to Hollyweird (Gazzarri's/Whisky/Troubador/Coconut Teaszer/Madame Wong's) to see either Great White (previously Dante Fox), RATT, W.A.S.P., Armoured Saint (Dave Prichard R.I.P), Obsession (Leather Angel), B*tch, Medusa, Tantrum, the Bangles or what ever primordial Sunset Strip hairband or West Side, New Wave chick band were gigging at the moment and we were in the mood to see.
I think that year on the way to an after party from a club on the Strip... my friend's 70s Ford Ranchero blew a gasket on the 101 and we both had to push it off the freeway offramp... consequently getting stuck in Echo Park... of all places... Luckily it was after 2:00AM... no traffic but we had to walk back up to Sunset to find a payphone and call a tow... you should have seen the look on that tow truck driver's face when he arrived and saw two wrist-spike, spandex, denim and leather jacket-wearing rock n' roll hooligans with big, sprayed and teased hair standing next to a car spewing out enough black smoke to choke a Vatican conclave... asking him since we'd spent most our ca$h at the Rainbow if he'd be cool enough to give us a break on the fee...
