Re: Scott\'s collection of gear
Very nice stuff !
You're a lefty then ?
I'm left handed, but always played my guitar right handed. I always wondered whether I'd actually be good if I attempted to play the guitar left handed...

Re: Scott\'s collection of gear
you prolly would feel stronger and more comfortable at first mondola , but i've heard it's quite good to learn the wrong way round , no offense to scott here at all !
but listening to a mark knopfler interview he was saying he's actually left handed and plays right handed and it gives him very strong vibrato and legato techniques because your strong hand is on the neck ...
some killer gear though scott i have a fender amp quite similar to that ...
so many pedals ! lol ...i've been meaning to get new pedals or something i feel quite underdressed with just chorus and wah and using the amp distortion on my 5150 ...
any tips for a good distortion or delay pedal scott ? i prefer single pedals than a big board multi thing

You're right about that Stiglar. I always was better on the neck than I was with my picking (especially fast picato) and I had to work like hell to get the two hands going together! As for a distortion with a 5150...you kidding!!!!! I've never had an amp with as much gain. If you want lots of choice try the Line 6 Distortion Modeller-it's pretty awesome.

Re: Scott\'s collection of gear
Newhalen,, The zoom pedal ( zoom 505 II ) that i have doesnt have drum patterns in it. I think it was the 606 that has drum patterns in it. The blue unit on the far lower right corner is my zoom rt 123 drum and bass machine .. I like zoom products..the one in between the zoom 505 II and the zoom rt 123 is my first processor that dates back to 1991.. which is a zoom 9000.. Mondola.. believe it or not,, I do everything right handed except for my guitar playing ... when i first learned how to play guitar which was 20 yrs ago,, it felt odd to me to play right handed.

i do quite like the 5150 distortion but i don't know i just feel like getting a different kinda distortion than that ?
also cause it's such a high gain amp i've found switching to the single coil on my guitar i get this mad unbelievable feedback ... i should prolly just have more fiddling time with it i guess
