A Few Random Ideas (Notation And Tab)


Just thought i'd user powertab for these quick little ideas. I have the notation and the tab. Oh, and when it opens make it full screen, it tends to sqwash the image otherwise, at least on the 1st one.

This one is in Bb dorian (not A flat major as it says, i use the major key thats related to whatever mode im using when writting modal music), and its in 5/8 time:

This one is a quick tapping bit that i stumbled across the other day. Oddly enough, theres only one tap, the rets is left hand work HAHA. It works over the V/V7 chord of any key, or any dominant 7th chord really. In this case it works over an A dominant 7th, the V chord in D major:

This one is a cool sequence based off of the Octatonic H-W (diminished) scale, in 6/8 time:
