Dee

I want to learn how to play Randy Rhoad's classical song "Dee". Does any one know the fingerings for it since it is fingerpicked? thanks.

Re: Dee

I'm with you. I'd like to learn it too.

I'e learned the intro to the song Diary of a madman and love it... It's a bit in the same vein but more simple...

Re: Dee

Using the code tag works too, this way you can put it right in the post

Actually, I have the tab for this song. I just need to know what fingers to play the notes with because it is finger picked and I want to do it properly. Any fingerings would be heplful. Thanx.

Re: Dee

I've been working on Dee for the past three evenings and it'scoming along slowly. I don't have the kind of dexterity I need to play it seemlessly, but I'm learning a lot as I go. I sounds better every time.
It will be a while before I can play the whole thing at once, or event record it, but I love learning it!

Re: Dee

i've always quite liked this tune , it's classical style but i dunno something about it always just said to me "this is a rock guitarist" not that that's a bad thing at all !

i might give it a try the next couple of days

Re: Dee

I always felt the same about that.
I've got a few measures down. I just need to spend the time to go over the tablature and continue where I left off.

Good luck with it, Stig.

Re: Dee

I learned that one by ear. For a rock guitarist (such as myself), it's a difficult piece...but for a classically trained guitarist (such as Randy), it's probably not too complicated.
