lets say your in E playing on the 12th fret blues scale, when your playing that scale and soloing slide the last note your playing back to the minor scale and pull off to open... hard to understand??? like this::::

kool thanks for the kool tip.. randy rhoads and kirk hammett also did alot of pulloffs onto an open string in their solos..

EVH did it a ton too. Some of his coolest sounding riffs that made people scratch their heads back in the day had pull-offs to open strings.
