Its actually 7/8 but i can see why youd think its 7/16. Its just at a faster tempo. If it was 7/16 that means he eventually goes into 32nd note triplets, which i doubt. I could be wrong, but i think its 7/8. Either way we know its 7 LOL. And the concept is straight from Frank (emphasis on 1 3 and 5).
I have a request regarding time signatures. 7/8, 7/16and so on...
Do you think you could post a basic lesson about that?
This is chinese to me and to many other players I'm sure. It's one of those concepts some of us probably use often to play a cover song we may know, but understand little in terms of theory.
Yea i wouldnt mind man. Basically all it boils down to is...the top number is the amount of notes...the bottom number is the note duration. 4 stands for quarter notes. 8 stands for 8th notes. etc. Most music is in 4/4, common time. You could count to it 1 2 3 4 etc. Not that there is anything wrong with 4/4 but people who are into interesting rythm like other such ideas. SHould i make a separate post?
