Well, there you go! Thanks for posting this basic lesson.
This is the gateway to Pentatonic bliss for all beginners.
If you guys start right there and noodle a bit over a backing track in A minor, you will have the feeling that you are playing something. With enough time, you will explore passing notes, find your own cool licks, and play the blues like it's nobody's business.
Remember that these box shapes work all over the neck. It's Pentatonic A starting at the 5th fret with figure one.
It's Pent G at the 3rd fret, Pent D at the 10th fret, and E at the 12th and so on.
