I found this really neat program called power tabs. Its a program that plays downloadable tabs! It really helps alot if you dont have the music with you at the moment. you can download it here and you can find the tabs here or here REMEMBER TO DOWNLOAD THE POWERTAB TO PLAY IT! you cant put in regular tabs.

Re: Power Tabs!

At the moment there is no Mac version of the powertab program.

Another good tab program is guitar pro. There is a good database of down loadable songs at www.mysongbook.com and a link to the guitar pro software.

Re: Power Tabs!

Canyon Carver wants some tab for a piece in Crazy Train. Will this let me do it or do I have to find it on the net?
Thanks.

Re: Power Tabs!

I found the Crazy Train power tab CC but can you play it? You'll need to download the exe. file to play this. Do you have a mate with a PC rather than a Mac? I've attached the thing anyway.

I don't go anywhere near people that have PC LOL!

Could you take a screen shot of the TAB? Maybe I can look at it that way? You can save as a picture file or a jpeg.
I know how to do a screen shot on a Mac (Shift + Command + click/drag over the area) I don't know how it's done on a PC though...

You sure I won't contaminate your Apple Mac mate? I'll see what I can do. If it's any help, I start the run on the second fret of the B string and hammer up and back down to the 5th fret. Then I hit the 5th fret of the G string and the run then goes 2B, 5G, 4G, 2g, 4D, 2G, 4D, 2D, 4A, 3A, 2A, 5E, 2E...or something like that! Cos I don't follow songs by tab and do my own thing by ear, it's sometimes hard to remember what I did when I did the take!
