Pull-off issues

After seeing some articles and videos at guitarplayertv i realized that i was not pulling off of notes in legato runs correctly. When i used to practice, i would do more of a "push off" and push my fingers up rather than pull them off and sacrifice volume/sustain in the process.

Well ive been practicing legatos correctly for about two weeks now after doing them wrong for a year lol (oh the toils of being self-taught ). They are starting to click for me but whenever i pull-off of a note i keep accidently sharpening the note by a small micro tone (probably 1/8 of a bend or less) and its starting to bother me.

Does anybody have any suggestions that would remedy this problem or experienced this issue themselves.

If you do a p/o type run practice them in fragments, and record yourself.
If you are bending the notes tht could be a problem, what you can do is "watch or "hear the landing" on each fragment.

before you do this, pick and play the first note to hear if it's in tune. and slow down and mark your tempo with a metronome.
