I have it in Guitar Pro or Guitar Tab Pro, or whatever edition at home.

I wouldn't say , "better". It's just that the tabs that I have found from My Songbook are really accurate.
It's like Power Tab in that the tab can be played to get the melody though...

Woah, 60$ for Guitar Pro, ouch. I find the price of Power Tab a lot more reasonable.

I have an old version of it that never needed upgrqading for me. It always says you should register it at the start, but then after 10 seconds you can click the "do not register me yet" button.
I'll see if I still have the installation file lying around. I have 20Gb of crap on my media drive, so I'm betting it's embedded in there somewhere. Unless it got lost in an operating system upgrade. Which is likely, since I probably grabbed it at University when I had Windows 95 on there and I've gone 98, 98 SE, Win ME, Win2K, Win XP since then...
