Shred Guitar - Guitars101

Ive seen this book called Shred Guitar at Guitar Center quite a bit and i was wondering if anyone on here has the book and can tell me what they think about it. Is it worth the money?

If its the one that I'm thinking of its not too bad. It comes with an audio CD that has the parts played fast and slow, as well as the backing tracks. Its a lot of fun to work through, though the examples and music on it are really cheesy.

If you are really into the theory aspect of it, then it provides a lot of insight about the choices of riffs and licks that were made. I think there's an ebook version out their somewhere.
