Steal Away The Night

Does anybody have the tab for this song by Ozzy? I was listening to Blizzard this morning and I thought to myself, Hey, I can play that! I'm not exactly sure if I can, but i'm gonna give it the ol college try. I've never attempted a Rhoades tune, so does anybody have any tips or anything regarding playing this tune that they can share? Thanks

I can try to tab out the main chord riff for you. My old band used to cover this song and for some strange reason, I never forgot the intro.

Go for it sucka! This is a great song.

I am currently learning Mr Crowley. I have a few parts down by now. It's a wonderful song.

The more I learn from Randy's work and the more I realize his magic touch. He's a great inspiration of mine. Eddie being another and Vai yet another.

The best advice I can give to playing randy's style is lots of practice on the legato phrasings...Randy is where my inspiration comes from. I will post a Crowley cover when I get the time, but I have to leave for work now.

Yes, a nice, fluid legato. Lots of 3notes-per-string modal runs.
The solos are great because they are little songs that fit like a glove with each song.

Excellent advice guys. I give it a go tonight and it's gettin there. Had too take it slow though to get the palm muting down along with the verse licks. I"m diggin it so far. I just dont see how Randy plays it so fast on the Tribute cd That guy was amazing.
