String Skipping arpeggios
here are some string skipping shapes with the root on the 4th and 5th strings respectively.
Amajor = 5th string root

Those are good to learn. For rolls and skips, it's best to use economy picking. with these types of arps I use an up stoke first, then down, hammer, up, pulloff, up,up,up! Alot smoother that way. [img]images/smilies/jot.gif[/img]
