Top 10 songs

Any suggestions for top 10 songs for new guitarists to learn that can reinforce playing abilities while being cool at the same time. Maybe something with a pretty basic solo, like Seize the Day by Avenged Sevenfold for example.

The second solo in Mr.Crowely by Ozzy has a lot of different techniques and is pretty simple tp play!! Metalica songs are always good too for developing your rhythm technique.....e.g orion, Harvester of sorrow and master of puppets!!...........ya!

I think Kiss and ACDC (pic your favs) are great to start with and great music too. Strutter and Thunderstruck are both great. For people who may dismiss these bands remember they are probably a big factor in your favorite guitar player picking up the guitar.

Led Zeppelin, Guns and Roses, ACDC, Kiss

Or if you want something a little more modern maybe Wolfmother, The Datsuns, Lostprophets, some of their early stuff was quite challenging, ermm...even (dare I say it) MY Chemical Romance, I hate them but that guys got some chops on the ol' geetar. Motley Crue their stuffs generally pretty easy but will still help your playing.

And certainly recommend Metallica stuff thats great for learning!!

Here's my Top 10:

1. Wolfmother - Woman
2. Led Zeppelin - Rock 'n' Roll
3. Kiss - Love Gun
4. Motley Crue - Wildside
5. Lostprophets - The Fake Sound Of Progress
6. ACDC - You Shook Me All Night Long
7. The Datsuns - In Love
8. Guns and Roses - Nightrain
9. MCR - Im Not Okay
10. Ozzy Osbourne - Suicide Solution

Oh, and if your thinking that "Seize the Day" is a learner's song, then you need to start reaching into Steve Vai and Joe Satriani!!
