Hey, I've had one of these kits for about a year and a half now, after 6 months the provided software got abit dull so the kit sat in the corner for a good while. Since I've stumbled across your tutorial though I'm keen to get playing on it again, unfortunatly I've changed my PC in the meantime and lost the original software It's something like Virtual Drum X?

Anyone got any idea where I can get my hands on it? Doesn't seem to be on the net anywhere.

Cheers,
Ryan

Hi there,
I've tried the glovepie method too, and can't get any joy with connecting it to Cubase or Reason; sorry to be a nuisance but could I also have the ionmidi file please?
menendoplex at hotmail.co.uk

I'm trying this using Maple Virtual Midi cable. I'm pretty new to midi: I can't see any input relating to Maple in Cubase or Reasons input section. Same with other virtual midi cables I've tried. Would anyone like to help a helpless fool?

P.S. Why hasn't anyone uploaded this yet? It's freeware right? I did find it on geocites but the link was dead.

On the off chance that someone with the ionmidi.zip file is still monitoring this thread, can you PM me so that I can give you an email address to send it to, please? Cheers.

I know this isn't exactly related, but I need the Virtual Drum X software for ied05 usb drum set. The company sent me the wrong software (VR Drums) which is used with ied01. If anybodys got a copy, please send me Virtual Drum X to min2033@hotmail.com.

I'd appreciate the help, thanks!!!

I accept with information:Using Fruity Loops as a VST host:
Addictive Drums
Drumkit From Hell
Real Drums Soundfont
All with excellent results, but as I said, each to their own. If you decide to use a different drumkit sampler, the principal is pretty much the same…
Create a new txt document and paste this into it, changing the directories as needed:@echo off
cd C:\Program Files\eDrum Monitor\
start /min EdrumMon.exe
cd C:\Program Files\FXpansion\BFD\
"BFD Stereo.exe"
C:\WINDOWS\system32\taskkill.exe /F /IM EdrumMon.exe
Save and close the document, and rename it to something.
