3fingers vs. Katrina update.....
Sergio sent me an email from the hotel lobby in Texarkana, Tx, where he is staying. He was able to get out with his dog and his guitar. He's been told that it could be weeks before they let people back into the New Orleans metro area!! He also heard that the area that he lived in had extensive wind and water damage. He also suspects that his parent's home was most probably completely destroyed because of the area they lived in. His cell phone isn't working so, he can't get in touch with them.
Anyway...he wanted me to let y'all know that he is safe and sound!!! If anyone has any updates about the well being of any of our other brothers and sisters that live in that area, please post and let us know if they are alright!!

Yeah, thanks for the news. Watching the TV reports, I really feel sorry for all the people who lost their homes and busyness, it sure must be a pain to start it all again.

I really hope he hasn't lost anybody - Serg is one of the best guys on this forum and I really feel for him here. Hopefully everything is ok. And hopefully no-one else here has suffered a loss either.

Thanks for the update and hopefully there isn't anyone missing. The phone issue is a widespread problem. I have friends out here who can't get ahold of family either over teh phone.

Thanks for the update sgstd  ....... Man , I know all the reports I'm seeing all over the news, the looting and all, I mean, these poor people had no idea what was about to happen!!!! Well, thank God Serg is alive and well!!! It really sucks that basically, he's homeless right now.......hard to wrap your head around that!!!!, how your talking to someone one day, and everything is normal, then the next, their whole world is turned upside down. I just pray that Mandy, MattM, and everyone else in the area are OK!!! Prayers and good thoughts are continuing to go out from my little part of the world, for sure!!!! .....
