Well, it's probably safe but as a rule when I am prompted to accept something like that from a site I've never heard of, I say no. That's the type of thing that can easily hammer your PC with spyware.

That was great! I wonder if there were really that many people, or if a good percentage were CGI.

Safe on my machine as well.

well the security warning showed me that the company was up on thier certs, and trusted. so I had no problem clicking the run or allow.

it is when they are not trusted or thier certs are not up to date. that is when i click do not allow.

the video was very cool thanks.

"Unfortunately, the Operating System you are currently using is unsupported."

This is after it began to display the site and then changed. The script obviously decided if I wasn't on its set of acceptable Operating Systems it would decide it wouldn't work. Maybe it _is_ trying to install something bad

I have seen websites that say that if your on a INSECURE operating system, (windows without the latest ie etc. reason being is they are prompting you to update your system. \

what os are you on? I did ok on winxp with all latest patches, using ie. Also this video does not install anything bad.

I can assure you. believe me I am a 2nd level trusted security advisor who works for the top computer security company in the world. it is JUST a video, heck if it were a virus or something why would they bother registering a certificate for it? seems pointless... they do that to gain your confidence not lose it. if there were anything shady about it I would have detected it.. Also it is an ad for a beer company. seems unlikely they would hide spyware in a ad. better off in a britney video or something. They are already gaining from you watching thier ad.

heheh, yeah well it does ask you if you trust the site even when you download the microsoft updates.

which you HAVE TO do to be secure.

the thing is that how do you knwo if there are new buffer overflows in the updates that you are downloading? hehe with microsoft it just might be the security update that F your world hehe.

hell I saw 2 weeks ago microsoft announced a flaw in thier color management module that allowed remote code execution.

how in the hell do you let someone HACK YOUR COLORS? to run anything they want on your pc? man if you cant even make my color safe that I am going BLACK AND WHITE heheh

LMAO!!!

Still, why nobody hacks Linux??? the code is there...

Microsoft asks developpers for lots of best practices methodologies, but it looks that maybe they don't apply them as they should..or maybe some other big company has a dept dedicated to hack MS...so people will want to swicht to any other OS....i

I'm not an MS pro, i hate their market moves, but i believe that some of the hacking is industry-oriented...then i think that many people could have good reasons to hate them....

It's actually good to read the update descriptions. so you can decide if you want it or not...
