A very sad day... A great guitarist has died today.

An absolutely great guitarist Named James Thompson has passed away today, he was 85 years old. He lived in Spokane, Washington. He started playing guitar when he was 9 years old and never put it down. His first love was playing, even though he only had 3 fingers (accident when he was 12 yrs old) on his playing hand he never let that get to him and became one of the best blues players I have ever heard. I looked up to him, and wished that I had the patients to do what he has accomplished. he passed away today 12/10/03 doing what he love to do, perform. He collapsed on stage and was rushed to the hospital but could not be revived....

I will truly miss him..... he was my uncle.
