Anyone Remember Vinyl???!!!!!

I was having a tidy up the other day and found a load of rare vinyl...NWOBHM stuff, rare coloured vinyl...and these picture discs. I have a few more but these Y&T one's take me back a bit...22 years to be exact! I reckon they will be worth a few bob in the future. I also have some pretty rare solo albums by different people but the two that will prolly fetch the most are a copy of 'Billion Dollar Babies'by Alice Cooper that STILL has the Billion Dollar note AND all the pics that you could take out of the insert. The other one is an autographed copy of ''Constrictor'' when he had Kane Roberts and Kip Winger in the band.

Anyone else have any old picture discs?

I have picture discs, but they are not that old. I can post pictures if people are really interested. Mostly Marillion, Steve Vai, Fish, Whitesnake and Mr. Big if I remember...

Back when I was in high school Korn released all their albums on vinyl about a week before the cd's came out. I used to love it because the diehard wannabe korn fans paid top dollar for the records only because they did not know Anyways.. the record cost about $20usd at bookstore/music store, I sold them for $100 each at school They asked how I got them and I used to say that that munky guy was a friend of a second cousin.

Anyways.. I have some metallica albums on vinyl.. as well as old school megadeth. But they are all at my parents house. I also have all the reissued Jimi Hendrix on vinyl.

Wow, I love Y&T Those are cool as hell. I have an old Y&T poster in my music room as well as a rare Priest "Screaming for Vengeance" vinyl promo picture disc along with Motley Crue "Shout at the Devil" promo picture disc.

I have the Dokken Promo "Tooth and Nail" Vinyl album too. There's a stamp on it that says "For Promotional use only Not for resale".

  2. Marillion - Uninvited Guest (Single Picture Disc, another great song, even though they changed singers)
