I live in Charleston SC. Born and raised and the traffic here has always been laid back, slow, easy going, courtious for the most part-almost to the dismay of "notherners" no offense to northerners my moms is from Lancaster PA
yet anyway they like to drive fast up north ...we just move too damn slow.
At Christmas time its getts clogged!
I lived in Charlotte NC for about a year not too long ago...the traffic there was brutal...say a prayer...enter the onramp
scary!
it's getting worse here every year as the influx of people, moving here, the sprawl
it just isnt the same place anymore
I am more laid back...now my father hes always bitching, fussing at people ..im more like...hey yah wanna cut me off? ok thats cool! whatever...
stay safe out there!

You have never tried to drive along the West Side Highway or Harlem River Drive between 4:30 and 7pm on a weekday in Manhattan have you? At least that traffic in the video is MOVING! Oh, and ask PeeJay about I95 North from NY into Conn. Puts a whole new meaning on patience being a virtue...

I remember the first time I went to NYC, people kept telling me traffic was really bad. I really thought it was fine, compared to narrow old lanes in most european cities. I invite yall to come over if you feel a lack of stress, and want to work out cussing out to every driver, get where you need to go everyday for work in 30 minutes, then spend another twenty or so finding a gddamn parking lot, for like a two mile ride. Thank god pistols ainīt allowed here.

Actually, no. I was referring to the video link in the original post showing traffic in Saigon (maybe you missed it). Love the Canadian reference though, eh

With traffic like that in saigon and no traffic signals, how is it that dozens of people a day on those bikes and motorcycles aren't run over and killed by cars? It looks like total chaos to me. Why the hell doesn't their government put up traffic lights?

That looks like Manila where stop signs are merely a suggestion.
