Bring the solo back from the dead!!

It is finally great to see that guitarist are rocking out solo's of a real proportion these days again. Unlike the Green Days of the guitar community we are getting some good music these days.......anyone else noticing this???

solos are a very very important part of a song. it kinda is the sort of climax of a song and brings the song to a whole new level hehehe.. also we wanna bring back the big guitars and flash heheheh

actually thats really really true.. not every song needs a solo.. a solo is only really necesarry if it will help bring the song up to a higher level so to speak hehe.. i love the simplicity of alot of the darkness solos.. hehehe very fun music

its just like spices i guess. solos are like spices and your song is the meat..you add spice to give it more flavour.

It isn't necessary and yes it does spice up the song however I would rather listen to stairway to heaven with an awesome solo....then say Green Day with three power chords and no attempt at any spice. For instance I am a huge metallica fan....last albumn....no solo's....NO play time for me!

What gets me is that the meat is generally a dried out chicken mc'nugget and the spice is that awful honey mustard sauce! [img]images/smilies/icon_lol.gif[/img]
