Busy As All Hell

Hello AllenElgin it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help provide a solution or just engage in a conversation with another member in any one of our forums?

Ok. That’s kind of annoying. Not really, but kind of.

It seems as soon as the holidays came, I’ve been busy as all hell.

I’m somewhat of a mechanic. I’m really good at it, but I don’t do it professionally because I detest dragging myself through grease every day. But I pull maintenance on my father’s truck. I do this because for anyone who knows, it’s almost as hard to find a good and honest mechanic as it is finding a good and honest politician. So I do this for him.

Well, he puts about 45-50 thousand miles on his truck every year. This year, his truck basically said it’s time for some major work. Thus, every weekend for about the last month I’ve been doing some major work on his truck.

Now, I have a brother-in-law that got in a car wreck a while back. It really messed him up. He has a Ford F250 diesel that hasn’t been running in a long time. So he called me and asked if I’d look at his truck for him. Since he’s basically crippled at this time, and a really great person, I decided to see if I could fix it for him.

A couple that I know and have been friends with for quite a few years now decided to start up an on-line auction business. They bought a computer from another friend of mine, but the computer needed some work. So, I’ve been going over there in my spare time and fixing up their computer for them so that they can start their business. The only problem is that when you go over there, it’s like stepping into another world. It’s pretty much party time 24/7. There are people that I’ve known coming and going, constant conversation, and the passing of an herbal substance that is currently frowned upon by our government. So it’s really difficult to get anything done over there.

There are other things I’ve been busy with, but I won’t mention because it’s really not safe sharing that information in a public forum like this. Especially since our current president has been breaking the law by spying on American Citizens in order to fight a war against a non-entity.

But it all boils down to:

Man, I’ve been busy as all hell lately. Anyone else? At the very least, I’ve gotten rid of the message at the top of the forum.
