The way i do it (cos i dont have a ripping program) is to open a song from a cd in cool edit then save the wav as an mp3.

You can do a google search for "free cd ripper" also, there are many of them out there. But I ask that you don't post anything copyrighted, I can get into serious trouble on a public board like this.

It's not a matter of ethics or preference, it's a matter of legality. Personal file sharing is fine but if it's got a copyright I have to answer for it publicly here. Don't take it personal.

yeah, i got ya man...
sorry... didn't intend to sound like i was taking it personal... i totally understand your position... read my last post with <sarcasm on> for full understanding of meaning... i was just kinda hearkening back in my mind to all the "napster" battles in the news and on tv...
i sure don't wanna put you or this board in a bad position... it kinda feels like home around here!!!
it takes a good bit for me to take something terribly personal!!!

THAT OR GO GET YOUR SELF A COPY OF MUSICMATCH..AND THEN ONCE THAT IS SETUP YOU CAN JUST POP YOUR CD IN YOUR CD ROM DRIVE(NOT CDR BURNER DRIVE) AND IT SHOULD LOAD IT UP RIGHT INTO THEIR AUTOMATICALLY..THEN JUST HIT THE RECORD BUTTON AND IT PUTS THEM WHERE EVER YOU MAKE THE LOCATION FOR FILES TO BE PUT..

yeah, if you ever saw most of the grass around here, you'd know why it's named yellow...
also, "TEXAS" is from the spanish word "TEJAS" whick means friend or friendly... FYI...

you might want to get a real computer if you can afford it...or find a meth addict and give him a few bucks to get you one...Bahahahaha
Windows '98 is so lame, just barely useable on internet... 10 yr. out dated JUNK
if you had XP Pro your windows media player would rip it for you ...
Just something to think about...
