DirecTV and the NFL Sunday Ticket
I thought I would share a few thoughts/comments about my recent DirecTV purchase and my first weekend with the NFL Sunday Ticket:
<ul type="square"> [*]Still no reception problems at all. It's crystal clear. [*]I've received my first bill and it's about $12 less than digital cable and I get three times the channels[*]Even though the Cowboys lost, the NFL Sunday Ticket is the single greatest viewing entertainment on the planet. Special thanks to Mrs. WIP5150 for allowing the Ticket to invade our little home
So, there you have it. If you don't have DirecTV or the NFL Sunday Ticket, I suggest you rectify that situation immediately.

I caught the Lions game on Fox but they didn't show the 49er game after, they showed the Seahawks which I could give a shit about

Hey eric what did you think of Harrington's performance? I thought he played great but man did the Lions secondary look horrible if they play that way next week the Pack are going to lite the Lions up.

Re: DirecTV and the NFL Sunday Ticket
I thought he was great he was the only reason that I watched that game, I have seen him a few times in my home town of Eugene. Overall they did a pretty good job and Joey had 4 td passes, a first for him

Re: DirecTV and the NFL Sunday Ticket
I was estatic when that he threw for 4 td's but that might have a little do with him being my starting fantasy QB and of course I am a Lions fan too.

Re: DirecTV and the NFL Sunday Ticket
I had it for the last couple years when my previous tenant wanted it badly--I told him that I didn't have much time or $$$$$ to watch it on Sundays, so I told him he can get it, but he's paying for it all.
Of course I watched as much as I could--hehehehe
I have DirecTV, and 2 receivers--1 is mine, the other is for my tenant--we split the bill that way!

Re: DirecTV and the NFL Sunday Ticket
Some of us just don't have that kind of cash to outlay every month, WIP. For us "common folk" regular cable and maybe an HBO thrown in is as good as we can do. Glad you enjoy it and get to see the Cowboys (even if they are going to be shaky at best!).

Actually, Troyboy, my bill is much lower than it ever was with Digital Cable - even with the NFL Sunday ticket. My bill is about $60 per month (thanks to the sign up special the goold folks at DirecTV are running) as opposed to $72 for inferior service and quality.
So, I get a lot more for a lot less.
