Emailing famous people

I wonder if anyone has emailed a famous musician, actor, whatever and actually recieved a response from that person?

There's usually a personal contact email on their websites that they claim is their personal email. I've emailed several of my favorite musicians over the years and have never been replied to. Not once! [img]images/smilies/icon_mad.gif[/img] Can they really be that busy? I know they get tons of email but you'd think they would answer some of them or do you think some webmaster just goes through them all and saves some and deletes the majority of them? [img]images/smilies/headscratch.gif[/img]

Yeah, I emailed Bal Sac from Gwar 6 years ago and I'm still awaiting a response.

I've e-mailed Billy Sheehan a couple of times. He always responds.

He also then adds you onto his mailing list and you get to hear what he's up to. And he doesn't send out an annoyingly high volume of e-mails either.

I've also e-mailed the QandA section on Thunder's site, and got replies on there. They are very good at replying through there.
