Good god, I haven't thought of it in a long time. I put out $150 and got a Subaru 360. The 360 stands for the engine size, it had a 360cc 2 stroke motorcycle engine, suicide doors, and 12 inch wheels, the gas tank held 5 gallons, and that's when gas was 50 cents a gallon. It was like driving a go kart Tons of fun on the freeway, wind from other cars would blow you all over the road. On the plus side, I didn't have to jack it up to work on it, just lift it with one hand an slide an apple crate under it to hold it up. After getting tired of almost getting killed daily, I bought a big hunk of Detroit Iron, a 66 Impala..............ahh those were the days.

Mine was a 1978 AMC Gremlin!
Hunter green with tan leather interior. AM radio (no cassette or FM) only. My stereo speaker was an old household stereo speaker that was laid in the backseat.
Thing was a friggin' tank though.

'65 Mustang, Canary Yellow, Boss 302, Holley 750 Double pump carb, Hurst 4 speed, original black interior, Centerline racing wheels and size 60 tires on the back I think. My Dad and I fixed it up that way, it was plain Jane when I got it in about 1984.

My first
My first car was a Ford KA. New two years ago, replaced (Friday) with a Honda Jazz (had to spell-check that carefully...).
But that's not real transport, merely foisted by the needs of children.
My first BIKE, was a CZ175. Honestly!
Then a Honda C100 (look it up), a Honda CB500T, two CB400Ns (one was lodged under a truck, requiring the second), a BMW R100RT, an XJ600S Diversion and finally a Suzuki GSX750W.
There were a few "Borrows" tucked away that aren't worth a mention.

1985 Ford Mustang GT - 4v - 5 Speed... I still have it in the driveway... Although the rust has hit it pretty bad over the last couple of years.. It is waiting on its final trip to the junk yard soon (as soon as I find the title)
