G101 Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund

As you are probably aware, hurricane Katrina has devastated New Orleans leaving hundreds of thousands of people homeless, without water and stranded.
We, here at guitars101 would like to do our part in providing financial assistance to provide any aid in the relief we can. 100% of all donations will go directly to one of the major disaster funds, most likely the Red Cross or Unicef.
What do you get out of it?
First, you will get a Gold Membership (if you don't already have one) for a donation of as little as $5.00. This is also a great way to give a fellow member a membership if you like. You will also get a nifty little "Donators" tag under your avatar. Finally, you get the satisfaction of knowing you have helped out these people in a time of need.
You do not have to be registered at this site to donate.
If you would like to donate through us, please feel free, the link on the top works either way. You may email me at webmaster@vhfans.com and I will gladly give your name or business credit in this thread.
When you donate, please send me a PM letting me know the email you used to paypal it. I have no other way to tie it to your membership, so this is important to get your due credit.
Also, feel free to bump this post and take some credit for your part as well.

I threw in my donation. Come on guys ! If you have a Paypal account it takes a few seconds to throw in a donation. We're not asking for huge amounts, every little helps. There's a lot of people on this site, and it all adds up !

do u need a creditcard for paypal? i got a paypal account once but i couldnt pay with it without creditcard info , which was weird bc i transferred money from my bank account to my paypal account  |

Dutch, I don't think you need a CC for paypal, just a bank account. If you click on the link it has a button where you can sign up.

Eric, is there any other way? I always got troubles with Paypal...it doesn't recognize my canadian bank or something like that..and i want to contribute!

i will check it out tonight or tomorrow morning
then i should be able to make a donation in a few days (depends on my bank transfer speed to paypal LOL they r not always fast over here )  |
