Game Shows

Most of you already think of me as a geek of epic proportions and you wouldn't be wrong in that assertion. However, I will now elevate my geekdom even higher by extoling the greatness of game shows and The Game Show Network

With nine month old twin boys running around, I rarely (if ever) have time to watch more than 30 minutes of TV at a stretch. Now, with the greatness of GSN, I can watch a complete show with minimal investment if I have to leave. Some of my personal favorites:

Whammy! - this is an updated version of the classic "Press Your Luck". The new host is an idiot though. Where are you Peter Tabarken?
Lingo - Game show host, thy name is Chuck Woolery. Great show and the kids love the sounds.
The New Newlywed Game (rerun) - every time I watch this show I'm amazed that the divorce rate in this country is only 50%. Great comedy though as you watch these idiots.
Love Connection (rerun) - Another classic I remember watching when I was a lad. Woolery is the PERFECT host for this show.
Match Game (rerun) - I ALWAYS loved this show as a kid and the reruns are still greatness. Charles Nelson Reily is gay, right?

Anyone else love the game show as much as me?
