Guitars101 new ownership - No longer happening
I have decided to sell this site, I love hanging out and goofing off in the off topic forums but my heart hasn't been into the meat of this site for quite a while. Pretty much everything outside of work has taken a back seat to photography and I don't have it in me to maintain this site any longer.
I have been assured by the buyer that he will keep it going and he may even add some other cool stuff, this was a major consideration in who I sold it to. I will still be hanging out too the only difference is that dannyboy, pee jay and nroberts will be able to tell me off without getting banned. 
You guys have all built this site up to what it is and make this place a great community. So let's keep on doing what we're doing and see how things go. |

all's I can say is this is the best board Ive ever been apart of mostly because of the admins on it and the great guitarist I hope it stays the same great board as it was when you were over it eric this place rocks and hopefully will for always...

Thanks guys, the buyer is also a guitarist and wants to keep things going. This could be a nice change of pace for the site.

i agree. i love this place too. i don't know what i would do if it was gone. thanks for creating one of the best sites for us and good luck in your future endeavors and come back often to visit. i hope we all will still be here and and doing our part to keep this the best site ever |

I totally agree with Mandy, it will be very sad to see you step down as the bossman, ty so much for all the hard work you have put into this place, as someone who has been here since almost the beginning it has been a real pleasure, this is the first site I had ever been a Mod at and it has been aweosme working with you Eric, you lead by example, it has been a pleasure dude!!!

Its very sad to see you step down as the man incharged...Just goodluck with your next project hun....You have made a wonderful place for everyone to come and enjoy and hang out...You have also made me feel so welcomed here from the first time I popped on here..Making me a MOD really meant alot to me..Thankyou from the bottom of my heart Eric....I will never forget that day and I will never forget you!....PLease stick around with us....We will still need some guidence

damn eric. when i think of Guitars101 i think of you man. I've never had a direct problem with you at all. maybe some of the MODS. but not you. you are a fair guy and always consider both sides. It will be the end of an era if you sell this site...
i hope you still stay as an Admin on here. or im toast LOL.

Thanks for making it happen, Eric. I've been here since day one and half and feel this place is home.

I hate to see you step down. I'm sorry that I never contributed financially to your site, really, my financial situation has been crap for awhile
Really, this is hands down the best music forum that I've ever come across on the internet. I would really hate to see that ruined by a change in ownership (i.e. imposing membership dues or unreasonable censorship--we'll still have the Nut Farm...right?).
Well, thanks for making the best forum out there.
BTW, who's the new owner? One of us? Bill Gates? A Japanese Zaibatsu? |

Just a "Thank you" never gonna be enough for all the giant dimension this forum means for us. You are the mind behind this spot were we found tons of interesting people with similar tastes, and,...i dont know if im gonna sound as a looser but here i go, you deserve it, sometimes in the real world our main topic to follow in life seems to be like something childish for the media.....wich i think i dont care but if im telling this, i think it have some kind of efect on me.
