How did you find VFans?

Just curious how you guys found this site, I know a large amount of people come here from vhforums.com. It's a good thing to know as it gives me an idea of how much the footwork pays off, thanks.

i actually came here when it first started back in may never signed up, forgot about it, then went to vhforums and got a link here and walaa!

i was on vhforums and started a post saying post up your playing and eric said he'd just set up this site and so i came over ! back in the days of the old vhfans boards ! good times !

i think i put in google's search bar van halen forums and it was the first one i saw and saw that said vh fans so i went in and like and joined..or did i try to reply to something and i had to register to reply to the post..i don't remember honestly..but yeah glad i found it.Rock on Guys!!!

I think it was from vh links? I was putting the Unchained website together and wanted some official type links. I saw the competition, thought I'd stick 'Atomic Punk' in and we won! I've stuck around ever since! Great site. [img]images/smilies/rock.gif[/img]

You guys were always cool, offering constructive criticism over at VHForums.com. You know, guys like Eric, CC, Wolf, Stiglar, etc. Apologies if I missed anyone else off, but you know who I mean.

You set this site up, back in the days when it was the old boards. I came on, and posted a real crap song. You didn't rip the piss out of it, but told me what was good, and what could be improved.

Then, as this place picked up, more of the same people have been attracted here, and it's made me proud of the site, and want to stick around. There's a really constructive feel around here, with everyone wanting to help each other out, with a general goal to improve everyone's playing ability.

And that's a great thing !

AMEN MONDOLA..honestly couldn't of said it better..everyone is always putting effort into helping each other improve our guitar or what ever skills and not really chewing someone a new asshole if the post or song sucks..everyone here rocks..

Thanks for the info guys, if it wasn't for vhforums this site would have like 20 people [img]images/smilies/icon_wink.gif[/img] Brett is a good guy over there and provides a great service. Their crew has been very supportive of this site and I am grateful for that.
