Keep me in you\'re Prayers
I have a Lump in my neck..I went to the doctor today and he said i have a chace of having Lymphoma or however u spell it. He gave me Infection Meds cause its possibly an infection..if its not gone within 2 weeks on these meds i have to go to the hospital for a biopsy. Cancer at 19? [img]images/smilies/icon_confused.gif[/img] i hope these infection meds make it go away within 2 weeks or i have to have a biopsy and i dont want that....please keep me in you're prayers my friends...I pray that even if i have to have a biopsy it isnt anything bad. Thanks

I know it won't be serious. Just a swollen gland or lymphoma as you say. Think positive man and you will get through this and I know it's hard to say but don't stress yourself out too much. Keep your chin up and I wish you well.

Good luck eternal but I have a feeling things will be okay. I get a lump on the side of my neck from time to time and have never had a problem. It happens when I get even a very mild cold, sometimes an un-noticable cold. The doctor said it was normal and that was several years ago.

I say a prayer for you dude, but, I'll also say this.
Find a new doctor. Swollen neck glands due to infections are so common. Any doctor who would suggest lymphoma without ruling out an infection is an idiot. Nobody deserves to be put into a panic by a doctor with a bad bedside manner.
