Let's talk about our kids!

I thaught i would start a thread about our kids

What they do that makes you laugh
What they do that makes you cry
and every other precious memory you would like to share!

I thaught it would be great to talk about the ones that will give you unconditional love forever!

The reason for this thread is becauz my son got 17 A's on his report card and he was so proud of himself and that made me happy

So if anyone would like to share something about their little ones, that would be great

I love everything about my kids. Ya never know when a laugh will be born, they just happen. As the saying goes, "Kids say the darndest things", and they do. Just this Saturday night...we're watching the movie "The Perfect Man", Hilary Duff and Heather Locklear...which Locklear portrays a single Mom and Duff is her 16 year old daughter who " hooks her up" with a great guy. The end involves some brownies...where Locklear and her "perfect man" finally get together. So...my daughter says "Daddy, you make the best brownies, you should get a job at a bakery!

I busted out laughing....

(this way,she says... Hilary Duff could be her sister...ya gotta love that)

My little girl has just gone 13 weeks already and has just found her voice. She coos and gurgles and squeaks and everything, and of course I call it her "talking".

I love every minute I spend with her and really look forward to getting up in a morning to receive her smile as she wakes up. Then, all I do all day at work is think about when I can get home to talk and play with her some more.

She can't say a word yet, but her eyes and her mannerisms are already so expessful that she always has me in stitches. She's also really smily and generally a great little bundle of fun.

I can't remember life without her.

Wow, I don't want her to grow up so fast !!!

I agree with you, she is my whole world.

However, I am banking on the first word being Dada. Though it might just as likely be, "Oh, bollocks..." going by the number of times I say it !!!

I could always talk about my daughter for hours on end (to her embarrassment ) , Her name is Heather, age 14

I am attaching a picture of her from the 2005 manual from her school, she is the blond in the enlarged picture in the center (she hates this picture of her yet I find it impossible for her to take a bad picture)

Due to divorce we live 500 miles away, yet since the divorce 8 years ago I have had her visit every Christmas, a lot of spring breaks and I get her all summer long each summer, so we stay as close as possible, also we are in constant contact via phone and instant message, emails.

One thing she did as a youngster (4 or 5 years old) Is I got her this Shetland Sheepdog puppy...I was constantly stepping in it's dog poop so Heather takes a can of bright fluorescent orange spray paint from the shed and paints all the poop piles in the yard so I can see them.

When I said well that's awesome & thank you, yet your going to have to keep on top of it I think that food she loves so much makes her poop a lot.

So she takes the spray paint and paints the dogs butt! BAHHAHAHHAH bright fluorescent orange! I guess in her mind it will mark it as it comes out.
Tons more where that came from...crazy lil kid

btw thats her boyfriend on the bottom right, He's 15 and about 6 foot and a healthy sized kid...very protective, polite, and a good kid. Loves her to no end and treats her like gold, a dad couldnt ask for more

JC

Congrats Guwapo....I have a 6 yr old daughter, Chloe. She has quite a little attitude on her already. When she was 4, she was eating a chocolate ice cream and my wife told her to be careful and not spill it on herself. Sure enough the inevitable happened and my wife started saying "Oh Chloe, I told you to be careful! Thats going to leave a stain!" My Daughter turned to my wife and in a very "couldn't care less" voice said "Mummy, I've got two words for you...WASHING ... MACHINE"

I was trying so hard not to laugh....Oh and I SWEAR I didn't teach her that!
