More landing gear trouble - this time a Nike plane

Watching news reports here - once again there is a plane with stuck landing gear trouble circling to burn its' fuel. This time it is a a private Gulfstream jet owned by Nike's founder (who is not on the plane). I believe they said that three of the four passengers are Nike senior exec's. Right now they are saying another 2-3 hours of flight time before they can attempt to land the plane.

The crazy thing about it is that this is the maiden voyage of this plane. Makes you wonder how much attention is placed on the safety of planes anymore, if a plane can't have it's first run without trouble.
