Now This Is Funny!
This is a real interview from a Russian mine where there had been an accident (that part NOT funny) but it led to allegations that miner's have been drinking and getting drunk on the job. The TV interviewer is asking, "So is there drinking abuse in the mines?". The guy is answering "Categorically NO"...then watch the guy emerge from behind!

I used to work with a guy that was from Russia, and he told me that vodka drinking is integrated into the russian social fabric. I'll never forget a conversation we had where he was telling me that everyone drank on the job. I asked "Werent people worried about getting caught drinking on the job?" He replied "Everyone who was drinking on the job would cover the alcohol on their breath by chewing orange rind." My reply was "So this was common knowledge? If you've been drinking and want to cover it up then you just chew orange peel?" He said "yes". At this point I asked "So didn't that mean that if someone's breath smelled like oranges, then you could be fairly certain that they had been drinking?" His reply "Hmmm - I never thought of that."
