Old coin-op arcade games

I'm sure most of us (us older kids, anyway...LOL ) spent countless quarters grwoing up on video games longbefore there was playstation, x-box or any other home consoles.

From Space Invaders, Centipede, Pac-Man, Missile Command, Tron, Pole Position, Q-Bert - a whole slew of games was spawned after that.

I downloaded the 32-bit version of MAME (multiple arcade machine emulator) a while back, and it's been a blast getting hooked on those old games again without having to spend a single freaking quarter!

If you're an ex-arcade junkie, I highly recommend it. cool thing is I have screenshots for hundreds of games now, so I'll post some of them from the games that I was hooked on personally.

Here's a few to start,and then I'll post more if anybody's interested.

Defender

Battlezone

Joust

The Pit

Wizard of Wor

Tempest

Burgertime

Galaga

Man, that brings back some good and expensive memories. My favorites of that era are:

Galaga (And I'll still kick anyone's ass)
Joust
Excitebike
Paperboy
Donkey Kong, Jr.
Missile Command

I'm sure I'll think of more later.

By the way, was Q-Bert gay?

Did you insert them yourself? And, if so, where exactly did you insert them?

Hey! The Paperboy was ALL MAN. Hell, even his name has his gender in it. WTF is a Q-Bert (besides a type of female gaseous emission?). I just wanted to know if you inserted your quarters inside Q-Bert yourself and where you inserted them. Seems like a logical question to me - why are you so defensive?
