Plans for Friday ??

Anyone care to share plans for friday?

Well I'm off to pick strawberries in the am. Then its a trip to the optomitrist so I can find out how blind I am. Im a little nervous since I havent been for a while (5 years) to be exact, Give or take a few. Anyways, I'm pretty sure I'll end up with coke bottles, at least on the right side and Its going to be hideous. But im sure i can find a nice pair of frames to go with them. Then Im going to visit my mother in corvallis and catch up on the gossip there. Then its a trip to see my sweetie in portland. Think were going to see The Hulk this weekend, It looks like its going to be a rad movie too. Have a great weekend working on all those MP3's for the contest, looking forward to hearing more posts from all you great players. I know i wont be posting one, You wouldnt want to hear it, It would be enough to make you cry but I can play some on the flute though.

Sounds like a packed weekend !!!

I'm off to some friends tonight to play Carrom , where we'll all get suitably wasted and laugh and joke at each other. Probably watch the Big Brother Evictions as well...

Good look with the optometrist, Sunnie. I have to get my ears checked at some point once again, to see if they can do anything for me nowadays...

The rest of the weekend is going to be spent doing Wedding-y stuff. i.e. Suit fittings, and various final purchases, and sending final numbers, and ringing around, etc., etc.

Also, we have got to send the playlist off to the venue and ensure that we have all of the songs that we want playing on original CD...

Somewhere in all that, I also plan to play guitar, and maybe record some crap. But that's all down to how well my computer behaves. [img]images/smilies/icon_rant.gif[/img]

We are still setting up the house since we recently moved from New York to Chicago so I'm sure I'll be dragged kicking and screaming on some furniture procurement expedition.

I have to mow the lawn so that will be the low point and I'm sure I'll be spending a lot of time with the twins so that's a good thing. [img]images/smilies/icon_thumb.gif[/img]

well it's friday night for me .. . and i was at my mates house drinking beers ... i just finished my exams .tomorrow i'm buying a new metronome and a guitar rack which should prove handy and then a party that sat night .. so that should be good and sunday big party too .. so lets see what happens there !

well ,

last year i studied classical music and that was a 3 year course but i decided that that kinda music wasn't for me and i switched into a jazz course which is a one year course , so at the end of this year i can either audition for a 3 year jazz course or go back to my classical course . . not too sure what i'm going to do yet .

i love classical music , well the course at least because it taught me so much on how to listen and train my ear alot .

thanks mondola .. i just finsihed my mid year exams , and i'll definately celebrate !

i dunno what i'm gonna do yet ... a life as a musician . hmmm guess i should start look for a real job to go on the side !

Hmm, I wouldn't do that. Otherwise you'll soon end up like me. Doing a job you hate in a line of work that you can never remember how you got into....

All the while wishing you had the time to be a musician, if work would just stay out of the way....

Still, it pays the bills....

Congrats on 11 years of marriage. These days it's almost a record.
We're recently celebrated 10 with the wife, and we're holding on strong.

Weekend plans?
I will take our son to the movies this AM, as we always do on fridays. Mom works too much so we check out flicks since I get off at 12:30 on fridays.
Saturday should be reserved to recording and playing the guitar in between house chores.
Sunday, who knows?
