Porcupine vs. Pit Bull.....who would win???

Well, if these pics are any indication......I'm going with the porcupine!

That's nothing. I want to see pictures of the guy's arm who pulled those spikes out!

Errr, in the first picture, the guy's left foot also seems to have porcupine spikes in it as well.

I wonder which one he was kicking ? The porcupine to get it off the pitbull, or the pitbull to get it off his per porcupine ?

After looking at those pics do we really need to ask who won?

Actually (and I might be mistaken), I think that the spikes that appear to be in the person's foot are actually just sticking out of the side of the pit bull's leg. Take another look and tell me what you think.

Well, I thought it pretty obvious too, however someone at work here pointed out that there is some blood and small felsh chunks on the end of some of those spikes. I think the porcupine won, but I think the pitbull may have got in a few good bites during the process.

At any rate, these images are quite uncomfortable to look at after a while.

I've seen other dogs that have tried to take on a porcupine, the dog never comes out on top. The porcupine's needles are made to come out and they inflict a lot of pain and damage on the poor dogs.

If the dog can get the porcupine turned over it can win but I have never seen it happen. Of course I have never seen a dog stupid enough to keep tying like this one obviously did. Maybe the dog actually got ALL of the porcupine quills? Most times it is just like 10-20 quills that you have to pull out, and it takes a good few weeks because the dog is NOT going to let you do it...they get away and hide for a day or two after getting 2-4 out...it hurts really f'n bad. This dumb dog probably required surgery at a vet!

I'm pretty amazed, having some experience with this, at the level of stupidity of this dog. This is probably a world record breaker

Porcupine, skunks, racoons...dogs just don't do so well...

Did the dog live? That looks life threatening.

Goport will become famous soon enough
this is unrelated but I think it does highlight the relative dumbness of dogs. I have 4 cats and my neighbour hates them so he got a Doberman Pincer. The cats befriended it as a pup and now tease it at their leisure. The dog has a permantly bleeding nose and the cats treat it with distain. At times they actually gang up on her and confuse her before letting her get close enough to swipe. It is quite funny to watch. And for the record I love dogs, and she is a gorgeous dog and doesn't deserve her owners.

Edenbridge is an unknown quantity at this point
those pics look pretty fake to me.....anyone can put those quills on the dog with photo software.. also a Porcupine doesnt have that many quills and they dont shoot them as well....thats a myth....so to me this pic looks pretty fake. also there is no way the dog would just stand there and take all of them. if you look at the EARS the quills aint even stickin in the skin it looks like there just laying there. im tellin ya those are fake

the Pocupine must be bald now

i call BS

LOL! I used to have a Pitbull...

They can be pretty stupid at times, but they are tenacious as hell. If they want something they go after it blood, guts and glory LOL! The pitpull I had, was a sissy though... stubborn as hell but a sissy. He was terrified of a cat that kept coming into our backyard to try to befriend him. It was funny to see him go hide and whine and cry ... crazy dog hehe
