R.I.P. Superman
The local radio here announced the passing of Christopher Reeves sometime over the weekend. Another American Icon is lost. Rest In Peace Superman.
BEDFORD, N.Y. - “Superman” actor Christopher Reeve, who turned personal tragedy into a public crusade and from his wheelchair became the nation’s most recognizable spokesman for spinal cord research, has died. He was 52.
Reeve went into cardiac arrest Saturday while at his Pound Ridge home, then fell into a coma and died Sunday at a hospital surrounded by his family, his publicist said,

Re: R.I.P. Superman
RIP Christopher. He was way more of a superman in real life than the character he portrayed.

Re: R.I.P. Superman
For all the crap and hot-air that comes out of Hollywood, I think we lost a good one today. Rather than wallow in self pity after his accident, he championed research into vertebrae and spinal damage, raised loads for charity and never gave up the desire to walk again. He really was a Superman. R.I.P.

Re: R.I.P. Superman
Reeves was a great actor,,but most of all he was a very strong man,,very brave...and the thing i admired about him was his passion to help others who were disabled..We all should look up to this man and his family,,for they loved each other unconditionally..and what really amazes me is that he kept going as if nothing was wrong and he did conquour not that he walked again but that he had gotten feeling in 70%of his body..he finally got the prayer of feeling his sons wrapped there arms around him,,his wife holding him,,,now that is amazing...may he rest in peace and not be forgotten...

Re: R.I.P. Superman
I would say that Reeves finally walks again...
The last years have been such a struggle for him. What an inspiration...

He was a good example of not giving up.
May he rest easy.
