Relief fund for Tsunami victims
We here at guitars101.com have put together a drive for a disaster relief fund to help aid in the Tsunami disaster. Our goal is $1000 which all proceeds will go to the Red Cross (note this site has a lot of traffic so please be patient) we have a tally bar all setup and ready to keep track of our progress here http://www.guitars101.com/forums/donationstotal.php
All donations count no matter how small, let's do all we can to help these people out in a time of need.
Edit: We have decided to donate to Unicef for their relief efforts instead, they appear to be more in need than the red cross at this time.

This is also on the front page, I will sticky this here where we can discuss. If you donate feel free to bump this thread and let us know, you deserve to show it off
The way I have this setup is that I created a new paypal account called Disaster Relief Fund for these specific donations, 100% of the money that goes into this fund will be sent to the American Red Cross from Guitars101.com minus whatever paypal takes out, usually very little. Feel free to ask questions about this, it's your right as you are the donator.

I am not sure about this bar, it's not updating That's okay though, worse case I will update this thread manually with our progress. The last $100 I will add to this, it turns out I can't send myself money through paypal lol.

I was gonna throw in a tenner, which translates to just under $20. So I put $20 in ! Not to outdo vintage_brat or Goport. I was just gonna put a tenner in !
Let's see this bar move !

Seemed to work for me as well. It's already at 0.2% !
Every little bit helps !!!
Edit : Although it should be at 4% shouldn't it ?

Right now we are at $115 so that's under 2% but it's probably rounding it up, we are off to a great start!

Just an Idea. . I know most of us are strapped at times..but have gear we really dont need..... What about an auction to raise a few bucks for this?
all the payments would go to the disaster fund minus shipping if need be.

Sure, we can sticky a thread in the Buy and Sell forum that says somethng like "For sale - proceeds for Relief Fund".
If you want to start up a thread in there like that VB, I will sticky it for you
