I watched a special last night about flight 93 and the passengers on the plane they took down. It was so good, but very disturbing. I had a hard time sleeping after that. They boiled water and found objects on the plane to use as weapons.
Did anyone else catch the special, it was on Discovery Channel?

I lived in New York (about 21 miles to the north of Manhattan to be exact) on 9/11/01 and lost two friends in the Trade Center. Just thinking about that day, watching with my own eyes as the towers burned and collapsed, then attending the funerals in the days following always brings me to a standstill.

I honestly don't know what else to say or how else to contribute to this thread - I think about 9/11 every single day and not just the anniversary.

I think all the old timers on here remember my 9/11 story. It will forever haunt me.. Now, before I start on a political rampage.. I'll just leave it at that, thank God Bush can't run again

I remember the day when it happened , linda was on the PC talking to friends in Florida and they told her what had just happened , i turned on the news and could not believe my eyes , i really thought i was still in a dream ,it really took a couple of minutes for it to sink in . the world had never seem anything as momentus as this , maybe hiroshima and nagasaki but that was in a world war so it kinda came as a relief i suppose cause it stopped it . this was a peacetime attrocity that will never ever be justified . .
