I heard Mac is not offering a G5 laptop yet, because they have to figure out how to cool that sucker. Some computers now feature liquid cooling, just like cars.

I haven't heard anything about that yet but I don't doubt it's true. They have tons more power available but no way to keep it cool enough. Funny cartoon SS!

I found I was able to upgrade the cpu on my 3 year old vaio laptop. I replaced the 800mhz duron with an athlon 2.3 ghz (NON mobile...more on that). I fucked up and ordered the wrong chip...I needed something that ran low voltage and ended up getting something over 45, should have been MUCH lower. Long story short, the fucker was so hot it burned the desk and it just died an incredibly hard death!

Damn Sting that sucks. There are alot of liquird cooled machines, mostly custom jobs.
