Hey all. Officially here to stay for awhile. Watching the Montreal video i got from Carmine (which is my absolute FAVORITE and ive watched all four) and just about to throw on a Home Run Inn frozen pizza.

Finland was pretty good. I figured it would be a bad performance because, IMO, on the Sam and Dave tour, he sounded absolutely horrible. But that was 2002, i was watching something from 1999. Whoever the hell was his axe man back then was a damn fine shredder. Great show. Love Slam Dunk here. Interview was pretty cool, too.
Hartford, i guess i lied when i said i watched all of them. Saving that one for after dinner.
Fresno could have better video, but what do you expect from the audience in 1978? Audio is fantastic, and the video may not be the best, but it really captures movement of band members well, so i guess its not that bad. Good to have a CVH vid in there.
Montreal is maybe the best VH vid in my collection. First, its a 1984 video. That already adds to how special it is. Second, the band is ENFUEGO!!! This is so well shot, it seems like pro-shot from the audience. Crystal fucking clear picture throughout, and fantastic audio. Ever since ive been a VH fan, and looked for boots around 2003, id like to say (Never knew about this place until June 2005) ive wanted this video. By the way, its a nice opening sequence too. That is cool as hell, man!
So all i can say is THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! And Im in huge debt to you brother. |
