The day after the Chili's concert in Manchester!

Woah what a gig! I arrived at about 1 and gates opened at 3:45 so i got right in first. Got front row standing and then waited for 2 hours or so 'til the first act (support band "Chicks on Speed") attended the stage. They were......crap. Possibly the worst attempt at making music i have ever seen. They suffered an hour of "Booo"'s and "Fuck off the stage" and the odd bottle hitting them (which was the only cheer we [the crowd] let off when they were on stage!). After their crappiness had been cleared ledgend Jame Brown came to the stage with his amazing band. The sung his heart out and was amazing. A very talented guitarist in his band too was really fantastic. No boo's for him! Then, after and hour and half on stage he left and the set was changed for the chili's entry! Wooo! Still front row stnding it was amazing. The Chilis entered and the whole stadium errupted. Crazy moshers soon changed the arrangement of the standing crowd and i ended up about 5 rows back. The Chilis were on fire, and their set wa samazing. They played most songs off Californication and then the odd ones off the other albums. They also played an unreleased and new single which was really good. Towards the end i just couldnt be bothered jumping up and down anymore as i was standing since 12 'til gone 9:30 so i was nackered - CROWD SURFING TIME! Was great fun. The gig ended with fireworks and was overall a wicked night!
