The lefties zone
I just had a runt having to open a can with a manual gadget, as the electric can opener has its blade pretty dull, and I just thought (I know it´s a very warn out discussion) why the hell do we southpaws have to put up with these gddamn issues??? . I just once in a while (and this is one of them moments) where I really, and I mean really am pissed off, so instead of banging the wall I decided to post this ala "dull group therapy", so, if your a lefty and wanna speak out, here´s the place.
Me, I´m tired of:
1.Having to write from left to right, I think I´m gonna start to learn arab, which is the other way around, or pure mandarin chinese, vertical neutral writing.
2. Having to open things counter-clockwise.
3. Having to play baseball in the same way.
4. Having to put up with whatever guitars are available, and I ain´t picky, but heck, I´d like to have more choice
5. Take all of the modern life facilities off, and when you have to do something essential, when you need just your bare hands and a tool, it´s made for the right hand.
Oh well, sorry for this lame whiny post, but I feel a little better now,...

I'm a leftie too m8e BUT I write with my right hand!! yep a wierdo, I remember when I started school (1960's) I had to learn to write with my right hand not left hand!!! I throw with my left hand even kick with my left foot, so I am a leftie really. I totally agree about the guitars though, what a pain, you get crappy Fender low grade models and Epiphoney Gibsons and maybe a Yamaha bottom of the range in the average shop (Yam's are quite good for the money). I got fed up and ordered a CARVIN DC127T Leftie, cant say enough good things about CARVIN, all lefties should order one as they treat us as NORMAL and they offer leftie versions of most if not all their range and it was setup great not the usual set up by a righty for a lefty player, good on you CARVIN GUITARS.

I have no problems being born a southpaw cuz, except for writing, I do every thing else rightie. Now ain't that odd? I could write just as easily with my right hand but it looks a little nicer with the left.

I'm a leftie but I play guitar the right handed way and I've learned how to open cans with a regular manual opener. Not that tricky really.
Baseball never was an issue. Noone plays baseball in sweden.

I'm a Righty but my DAD was a lefty, so I play baseball, golf and cricket how he taught me (as a leftie) but everything else including playing tennis, writing, playing guitar and playing drums I do as a righty. Oh... but I am left footed (huh?)
My School used to force lefties to learn to play hockey right handed. Which i think is totally wrong. It's like a taboo discrimination that no one ever talks about. At least 10% of the world population is left handed. Less than 5% of the world population are disabled. Who gets the parking spaces? hehe

completely leftie. I can't even begin to try to do anything right handed - except cutlery.
as for more choice in left handed guitars I would just like A CHOICE
