The Mondola Brothers : Hopefully coming soon - WOOHOO !!!

Hi there,

Quite stoked at the moment actually. I put together a CD of stuff for my brother to listen to of what I've done so far. There were 26 tracks on there, with stuff like:

• I Believe In A Thing Called Love (No Vocals)
• Are You Gonna Go My Way (No Vocals)
• Highway To Hell
• Searching For The Answers (Me over a backing track)
• Wherever It Takes Us (Me over a backing track)
• Half The World Away (Me on vocals and acoustic)
• Wonderful Tonight (No vocals)
• Kayleigh (Me and Toast)

Anyway, he liked the I Believe In A Thing Called Love so much that he took it into his studio and put vocals over the top of it ! Now it's just the matter of getting the damn thing off him so I can put it up here, and damnit, just listen to it myself !

Anyway, and this is the most exciting bit for me. He said that it was all really good and that he'll be stealing some of my ideas himself !



It goes without saying that those of you who have been here as long as me know that I really look up to my older brother in terms of a lot of things, but guitar playing is definitely one of them. So for him to say this is just the feedback that I was hoping for. The icing on top of the cake as it were !



Anyway, thought I'd share that with you. I'll see if I can get a recording of it off him, and if he can keep doing this, I'll try and get him onto some more collaborations...
