United States Post Office Sucks
USPS has tons of people insuring packages, but when it comes time to pay on those claims, the Post Office gives you a run around. I had 2 packages I sent to Europe. Both were boxes of cigars for my father who lives in Greece. I sent the first in January and the second in February. I sent the second package because the first never arrived, and then the second was lost as well. I filled out all of their paperwork and provided all of their documentation only to get fucked in the ass when they tell me it could take up to 8 months. Is this my problem? Of course not. 8 Months is unacceptable on every level because the time frame is not stated anywhere when you purchase the insurance giving you the opportunity to find another avenue to send your package. As of now, the USPS owes me $125 for the cigars as well as the $25 I paid for expedited shipping for a total of $150 per package. What kind of bullshit is this from the Post Office....? Shit, now I sound like fucking Maurice from the forums. :shakes head in shame:
