Venting about Comcast Digital Cable

Okay folks, I'm going on a rant about Comcast and their crappy digital cable.

I recently moved to the suburbs of Chicago from the suburbs of New York City. One of our more important decisions was to go with a dish or digital cable. We chose cable as I just know I'll be the one "adjusting" the dish every time the wind gets above three knots.

Now I have my digital cable and here are some of the channels I don't get:

E! Entertainment
The Food Network
VH1 Classic
MTV2 (not that I'd watch it much)

The reason I don't get these channels you ask? I was told that I live in a rural area. I live 31 miles from downtown Chicago which, last time I checked was the third largest metropolitan area in this great land of ours. I live in a town (Aurora - insert your Waynes World joke here) of over 100,000 people. Does this sound like a rural area to anyone????

So, now I'm debating whether I should tell Comcast to go and fuck themselves or just suck it up and deal with it. And you thought your life was difficult! [img]images/smilies/icon_surprised.gif[/img]
