Think I've told you guys that me and Geord have been talking about making a small digital studio to record original stuff, soundtrack stuff, adverts etc. Well, we talked about it for ages but today we finally got started! My garage has already been converted to a Utility Room and we've now taken over the back 1/3 which was a tool shed...well, dumping ground!
Today, we cleared out and started to put the studwork up which will house the soundproofing. Then we'll deal with the electrics and finally carpet and floor tile it thruout so we can make an ALMIGHTY racket!
I've attached some pics so you can see it from start to finish. The name 'Lucifers Pumpkin' comes from a hippo who lived (lives) at a Wildlife Park in Silver Springs, Florida. His name is Lucifer and he likes eating pumpkins! I thought it was a pretty cool name for a record company and studio so there ya go.
As we go on, I'll post more pics and, hopefully, some original music in the New Year from the studio.

Here's how it looked at 8.00am this morning! This is the half that the wife says is STAYING THE SAME!
The old window frames were sealed with mastic just to try and stop any noise going into my neighbours garden!
