Want to create a new logo for the site?

Okay, anyone out there an image design wiz? Here's your chance to show it off by creating a new logo (the one at the top) for this site.

Here's how it will work, you can submit the image in this thread and after 30 days or so the admins will decide on which one we want as the new logo. The winner will have their name displayed at the bottom of the site as the person who designed the logo. It will need to beat out the current logo as well.

The logo should say Guitars101 and have the aka: VHFans.com in smaller print, sort of like above and the dimensions must be 468 x 60. Good Luck!

I should also make it clear that it cannot have a VH logo or any franky stripes, it must be non VH related.

should have VHfans big and guitar 101 smaller font [img]images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif[/img].....

I think that <font color="yellow">ericgtr</font> is looking to move away from the Van Halen association and have this as a Guitar Related site. Thus you don't necessarily *HAVE* to be a Van Halen fan to be here.

That's the reason for the differences in Fonts.

Personally I think that the Guitars101 test itself has a certain guitar shape about it.

However, I don't know how to use graphics packages well enough and my two Adobe Photoshop books have never been touched yet.

Also, I wouldn't want to annoy Brett at VHForums with a design that could be seen as ripping off his.

Hey, it's not just for me. It's for everybody. And it's just a concept as well remember.

Don't be constrained, just do what you feel is right. And have fun.
